TXRX Labs Presents: An Artist Technology Residency on the study of NUMBER - a theme relative to the physical understanding of our shared reality.
Our opening night, June 3rd from 6:30 - 9pm will be the first event held in our new space at the East End Maker Hub Gallery, located @ 6501 Navigation Blvd Houston TX 77011.
The selected Quadrivium theme utilizes fabrication processes and skills based training classes that were provided by TX/RX Labs and supported by our dedicated staff of engineers and designers.
Through the exploration of a fabrication toolset, some of the classes taken by the artists to be seen in showcase will include the following : laser cutting, metal working and fabrication technologies, powder coating, sandblasting, wood working, electronics, 3D printing SLA, vacuum forming, 3D modeling, welding, ceramics, water jet glass.
The lights will be low, music abundant and free home brew will be provided, courtesy of one of our artists.
